I LOVE how clean the place was. I was greeted and felt very welcomed and accommodated. I love how staff wore masks and cleaned their hands multiple times. My facial was so nice, I left with my face glowing and it felt so soft. The products were so good I bought so much of them. Highly enjoyed the experience and will definitely come again.

I had an absolute wonderful time here! The customer service is A+ from the moment you are greeted. I have issues relaxing but even my bones were relaxed by the time Raine was done! She was very professional, thoughtful and considerate. I got a 45 min facial and it came with an hand/head massage as well. I also had my eyebrows done. I’m now adding this to my bi monthly skin care! Thank you the amazing service! I’m recommending to everyone I know.

I love it here. I haven’t had a bad service here yet! Destiny is the only person I’ve worked with so far and she’s great! For someone who have allergies and sensitive skin, I haven’t had any breakouts from services here. The staff is very friendly and the establishment is very clean! From The sanitized comfy shoes to the bathroom, all clean and neat!

I went in for a basic facial since it was my first time here. I just needed a simple facial as a treat for myself for my birthday! It was quick and WONDERFUL. Filly did such a great job & great tips and recommendations! The environment was such a vibe. They had great music playing (bias because they played pretty much everything I have on my current playlists) it was such a cute little spot I’ll definitely be returning!

Amazing experience!! First I’ll start by saying the spa is beautiful. Very modern and esthetically pleasing. I received a very relaxing yet effective facial from Matisse. She is extremely knowledgeable about products and skin in general. I left with a fresh glow and was fully educated on home care. Looking forward to my next visit in a couple of weeks.

Matisse and her staff are PHENOMENAL. I have been coming here since 2021 for facials and and have also gotten my lashes done here. It's the cutest place with the kindest and most professional staff. I recommend this place to everyone in the twin cities!!

I love getting pampered at Face! My favorite services are the monthly facials and the brow wax, lamination and tinting! I love the wide array of services, the microdermabrasion is fabulous and I can’t wait to try the DMK facials! The space is fabulous and clean. The blankets to get cozy during the facial are awesome!! The staff are professional warm and kind. Overall I highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Matisse since it was just her at Lela’s Virtue Lounge in Jan 2019. I’ve been to her for many services. I always go for brow waxing, but sometimes go for facials and other services. I’ve gone to a few others at #FACE and the service is always incredible. The salon is clean, aesthetically pleasing, great music, friendly staff, exceptional customer service and helpful advice on skincare. They also have retail products available for purchase that always work well. It’s my favorite self-care appointment. I love coming here and recommend them to everyone, always!

Hands down the best estheticians in the business. Owner, Matisse is very knowledgeable, professional, and has a heart of gold. She stays on top of new innovative and effective treatments. The entire vibe of #Face puts you at ease from the moment you walk in. The attention to detail in the design of the place also transfers to the facial treatments. Treat yourself to a lounge facial and thank me later. My skin cannot succeed without this place. When I slack on my appointments it shows on my skin.

I had an AMAZING day experience at #FACE! The atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful and the ladies made me feel so welcomed! Ashlee provided my Face waxing service and she made feel like I had known her a lifetime lol that’s just how comfortable I was with her! I would highly recommend #FACE to anyone looking to be pampered rather it’s your brows, lashes or Facial needs!

I had a delightful experience at Face! I had the 'I'm just here to relax' treatment. Angelica was amazing. She explained everything about the session before we started and offered to chat or have a silent session. I really appreciated the upfront offer. My skin felt amazing after. I'm only sad that I live waaay out of town! But I'll definitely be back next time I'm there. Thank you again for a much needed pampering.

First time at #FACE and it was an amazing experience. I saw Lana and she did a fantastic job. The staff was super friendly and professional. The salon was clean and I felt safe that they were following COVID-safety measures. Overall a wonderful waxing experience and would highly recommend. They're also LGBTQ+ friendly which is a plus. I look forward to making this my go-to waxing salon in Uptown.

Atmosphere: Great! Well lit and welcoming space upon walking in, and the treatment rooms have appropriately dimmed lighting for relaxing facials, etc. There is ample parking. They provide sanitized slides to swap for your outside shoes, which makes it feel even cleaner in there (especially in MN winters). Offer complimentary beverages. Service: Excellent! I booked a 60 minute customized facial + dermaplaning with Akilah. It was SO relaxing between the aroma, facial massage, hand massage, arm massage, masks, etc., but also felt like it was ‘productive’ in correcting skin concerns. My skin felt fantastic immediately upon leaving and later on. I appreciated how Akilah offered gentle advice to combat some of my skin concerns but also found things to compliment about my skin. She was not pushy to purchase products either. I’d recommend!

The girl power vibrations that’s you get when you come to her facial bar, makes you want to continue booking all your skin needs at Lela virtue !!!! I am oldie but a goodie when it comes to Matisse work !! She is amazing!! She makes you want to work hard at keeping your skin healthy.. I love how she’s always educating me about my skin and explaining what she’s doing while she’s doing your facial simply makes me feel important and that she really cares about my understanding when it comes to my skin. Matisse is always learning news ways to help her clients skin glow !! I love that part about her the most , Her staff are so nice and professional I always feel so happy leaving her spa with my new skin !! I recently received a chemical peel which I high recommend !! I am in love with my new skin. Even more excited for my future facials I have booked .. Ladies she the best in the twin cities !! Book and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about !!!
